Carbon Economy Day #2 / Changing food habits and GHG emissions

On 25 September 2025, between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., the second Carbon Economy Day (JEC#2) will be held on the campus of the Institut Agro Rennes-Angers in Rennes.

This day of discussions, funded by the PEPR FairCarboN, Agro Rennes-Angers and the Rennes metropolitan area, will bring together researchers, public and private stakeholders, engineering and master's students from the agri-food sector to explore levers for changing food behaviour and promote low-carbon initiatives.

This event is aimed at an academic audience with no prior knowledge of economics. It aims to enable everyone to understand how economics sheds light on climate issues. It was funded by the PEPR FairCarboN, Agro Rennes-Angers and the Rennes metropolitan area.

The 2024 edition brought together nearly 150 people! Below you will find a summary document of the day, as well as videos and summaries of this first edition.
