Presentation of the CrosyeN research site in Zimbabwe

Did you know? The CrosyeN project is spread across eight sites, including one in Zimbabwe! This site is conducting several research trials related to N2O emissions, soil health and agricultural production in conditions of drought or extreme rainfall. A first publication on the subject is currently being prepared!

This site is co-funded by several other projects and was set up before FairCarboN. It looks at N2O emissions and soil health aspects, as well as production, for different practices (fertilisation, mulching, cereal-legume associations) under water stress conditions: 30% reduction in rainfall or extreme rainfall (compared to a control with ambient rainfall).
