Competitive grant programme

The projects resulting from the open calls for projects are intended to cover the research areas of FairCarboN. The FairCarboN facilitation team will promote interactions between the targeted projects and the winning projects of the call for projects. Interactions between these projects and more generally with the scientific community interested in the themes of FairCarboN will be encouraged by the organization of workshops, exchange days and training sessions.

These projects are tackling research challenges in FairCarboN's priority research areas:

• Axis 1: Quantifying carbon inputs, transfers, transformations, and storage along the terrestrial-coastal-atmospheric continuum
• Axis 2: Coupling biogeochemical cycles in a context of global change
• Axis 3: Expansion of plant biomass production and use
• Axis 4: Economic and social issues: drivers and impacts of change
