CABESTAN launches in Le Mans!

The winning CABESTAN project was launched in Le Mans on 11 and 12 January. The project brings together researchers from nine laboratories. It is led by the University of Bordeaux and coordinated by P. Anschutz of the EPOC (Environnement et Paléoenvironnement Océanique et Continentaux) research unit. CABESTAN looks at the carbon cycle at the land-sea interface in the context of foreshore and coastal wetlands on the Atlantic and Channel coasts.

These two days marked a turning point in the targeted project, as they enabled the scientific community involved to meet, sometimes for the first time, and to discuss the various experimental sites as well as the organisation of the project.
